1. OWNERSHIP AND LEGAL PROTECTION

All content presented on this website, on our social media and in materials associated with Ângulos Photography — including photographs, videos, text, logos, design, icons, graphics and other visual elements — is the exclusive intellectual property of Ângulos Photography, and is protected by Portuguese and European copyright and related rights legislation.

2. RIGHTS IN THE PHOTOGRAPHS

Photographs taken by Ângulos Photography are original intellectual works, authored by the photographer or the team responsible for creating them. The client acquires the right to personal, private use of the images delivered, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Copyright remains the property of Ângulos Photography.

The Ângulos Photography brand is managed jointly by Luís Filipe Gonçalves Diaz and Márcio Alexandre Lobo Ribeiro (as set out in our Privacy Policy).

3. RIGHT OF USE AND LICENSING

Delivering the photographs to the client does not transfer copyright; it grants a licence to use them for personal purposes. Clients are entirely free to share the images on their personal social media, print them for their own use, or give them to family. However, for public commercial use — in particular the social media of brands or businesses, wedding suppliers (venues, make-up artists, stylists), catalogues, magazines or advertising campaigns — third parties must request written authorisation and a licence from Ângulos Photography.

4. IMAGE RIGHTS AND CONSENT

Ângulos Photography respects its clients' image rights and the protection of their personal data, in accordance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Publishing images that identify people requires explicit, informed consent, obtained through a signed image release form.

5. MISUSE AND PENALTIES

Any unauthorised use of works by Ângulos Photography — including reproduction, copying, editing, removal of the watermark or publication without credit — constitutes copyright infringement, punishable under the Portuguese Copyright and Related Rights Code (CDADC).

6. REQUIRED CREDIT

Whenever images by Ângulos Photography are used with authorisation, the following credit must appear visibly: “Photography: Ângulos Photography” or “© Ângulos Photography — Algarve, Portugal”. Failure to comply constitutes a breach of the moral right of attribution.

9. COMMERCIAL AND EDITORIAL LICENCE

Ângulos Photography may grant specific commercial or editorial licences for the use of its photographs, subject to express authorisation and a written agreement. Commercial licences allow the client or licensed party to use the images in advertising campaigns, promotional materials, corporate websites, catalogues, magazines or brand social media, under the following terms:

The licence is non-exclusive, personal, and limited to the purpose defined in the agreement;
Resale, transfer or sub-licensing of the images to third parties is prohibited;
Use must respect the integrity of the work; editing or manipulation is not permitted without prior consent;
Ângulos Photography retains all moral and economic rights in the images;
Any use outside the authorised scope constitutes copyright infringement;
The fee for a commercial licence is set case by case, according to the type of use, its duration and the scale of the campaign.

To request a commercial or editorial licence, a formal request must be made by email to geral@angulosphotography.com.
